Before Ozark Glow, there was a kitchen stove, a pot of melting wax, and a shared spark between a mother and daughter. Our first candle was poured with herbs and crystals, guided by intuition and lit with curiosity. We didn’t know it yet, but that simple act was the beginning of something special.

Our roots run deep in the Ozarks, woven through the legacy of those who came before us. Our great-great-great-grandmother, “Missouri” Cook Casey (1838–1914), and her husband, William Casey, were early settlers of Taney County, Missouri. Around 1848, William’s father, Levi Casey, built a log cabin near Swan Creek in what is now Forsyth, where the family lived for many years. Decades later, that same cabin was carefully relocated and preserved at a beloved Ozarks theme park, where it still welcomes visitors and shares a living piece of regional history. This enduring structure serves as a testament to our family’s connection to the Ozarks—strong, rooted, and alive through generations.

Ozark Glow™ is our way of honoring these roots. Our candles are small-batch, hand-poured, and inspired by the magic and warmth of these lands we call home. Some are made for purpose and intention, others for cozy nights and familiar comfort.
